At CTRU we undertake ground-breaking research that will shape clinical interventions worldwide for generations to come. From early proofs of concept through to final-phase safety and effectiveness trials, we facilitate the creation of new medicines and treatments that otherwise would not exist.
Who we are
The Clinical Trials Research Unit within the Leeds Institute of Clinical Trials Research (LICTR) is an international leader in the field of clinical trials. The Unit is one of the largest in the UK and conducts national and international randomised and early phase clinical trials in a variety of clinical fields.
Our team is over 220 people and is a multidisciplinary group with everything under one roof.
